The marble spray paints are so effective if it is done nicely on a material. They look super realistic on a surface and can make any plain surface look elegant. Most people use Marble spray paint to get those marbelizing feel or effect to the surface. Mostly it is used in planters, ceramic pots, vases, pitchers, and lambs, and can even be done in metal objects.

Here are the steps to Marble spray paint any object –

Clean the object you want to spray the marble effect. Apply a thin layer of base coat to the surface, the same as the color of the surface with normal spray paint. This will allow us to even out the color so that we could differentiate the layer. Take the Marble spray paint can, open the lid, and spray it across the object. Remember, while spraying, don’t spray it one place at a time. Just spray it in the preferred region with constant motion. If you keep on going on one part of the object it solidifies to form a spot that cannot be undone.  Now when you are done with spraying, move the object to a side and leave it there to dry. It will take five or ten minutes to dry completely.

While using the paint, don’t forget to cover up the floor or the place you are going to work because once it is done you cannot clean up the mess later. It is not a heavy process but taking safety is something necessary. Before using the spray make sure you shake the can for a few seconds. This will make it back to its state of liquid if it gets dry from the inside.

Alternative Method

Here, I will tell you an alternative way to do the spray painting. First of all, take any container, preferably flat. Fill the container with the necessary amount of water in it. Now spray the marble effect spray paint onto the water. You can see the marble effect on the water. The color and the smeared effect will be accumulating on top of the container. You can add another different color with different gradients to this mixture and create a new look to the material we are going to apply.

Now that the solution is prepared we can take the object, clean it, and place it into the solution. Because of the texture in the water container, it will paint the object with the elements we added. Now you can take it out and place it somewhere safe, to dry out.

Precautions

Don’t overdo this process, like taking it off and dipping it again and again into the solution. This will make the dark layers of color solidify one part of the object. Just dipping it one time is enough. This will give it a balance between perfect texture and surface imperfections on the pots or planters or any ceramic materials we are using.

Keep in mind that, when we use the flat container where we use to mix water with all other spray paints, it should not be reused for any other purpose. We can use it for this same process but most of the time the color would stick to the edges of the container. To not let this ruin your container, place a plastic cover or aluminum foil at the bottom of the container, before pouring water onto it.

Conclusion

Nowadays, making something creative is not a common thing, it is rare. Does that mean people don’t know anything about creating something? No, people have everything they want to create new and exciting things but they would get excited about doing these kinds of stuff. Marble Spray is less than $10.
