Who’s in the Dickinson cast, and where have you seen them before? The surrealistic black comedy series is part of Apple TV+’s November 2019 launch lineup, and is (loosely) based on the life of 19th century American poet Emily Dickinson.

Dickinson follows the younger years of the title character as she explores her creativity and sexuality. The series was created by Alena Smith, and features epiodes directed by both David Gordon Green and Lynn Shelton. Described as having “a modern sensibility and tone,” Dickinson incorporates modern music and slang in order to fully convey the concepts and issues that young Emily grapples with.

Dickinson stars Academy Award nominee Hailee Steinfeld in the lead role, while the supporting cast features a mix of established actors and newcomers. Here’s a cast guide for the weirdly wonderful Apple TV+ series Dickinson.
